What a hidden gem! For us anyway! We visited on Sunday after a morning in Falmouth and after not being able to find anywhere with space in Falmouth we decide to carry on our day and thought we would head to Trebah Gardens and just grab a toasty and on our drive we saw The Cove and thought why not as we were starving at this point! And OH MY GOODNESS, incredible!!
Very dog friendly, the roast was amazing the best beef I’ve ever had and the cauliflower and leek cheese was incredible! With huge portions and such amazing flavour along with the deserts and two drinks we were so surprised with our bill coming to just over £70! Honestly if you are around then please visit this wonderful restaurant!
Our only feedback would be the man who served us we assume was the manager was fabulous and really welcoming and the younger lady who came over to ask if everything was okay with our meal was lovely but it seemed the man was the only one serving tables mainly/taking orders so little things like the time between asking if we wanted to see the desert menu to it being brought to the table was a good 5 mins. But honestly it doesn’t take away from the incredible food and overall experience just something as an observation.
We will 100% visit again!- Meal type

I had a drink here with my wife and two young children a few weeks back. On arrival we were unsure if it was child friendly or how welcome we’d be as it had a bit of a fine dining vibe. However the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and were really sound to us. Not to mention the beer prices were better than most places around! Made for a great pint in the sun

We sat on the terrace and had prawn linguine, prawn and tomato risotto with a lovely piece of hake, as a side we had shell on king prawns in garlic butter. The food was amazing!!!- Wait time

I like to use the word Quality if we have a good experience. This restaurant gets our thumbs up 👍 Food was outstanding and the fine wine chablis 1st cru was superb. This is a quality restaurant for all occasions.

Excellent Sunday service today, courtesy of James - thank you. The beef brisket was excellent, and the cauliflower & leek cheese (extra) side was spot on. Highly recommended for Sunday lunch.

We were recommended the Sicilian seafood stew which was delicious and looked amazing. I chose the Cornish clotted cream mussels which were huge and the sauce was so creamy and tasty. We both really enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return. Thank you for such a great food 😃- Wait time
